The build deserves credit too — a rigid aluminium chassis, an excellent mechanical-feel keyboard and a 240Hz display with full DCI-P3 colour coverage that doubles as a serious creative workstation.
It is not cheap, and it is not light at 2.1 kilograms. But as the first no-asterisk gaming laptop, it earns our highest score of the year.
